They got into a fight last night when Charlie found out that Eve had called her a bully to Polly Sellman, her co-star.
More tears were shed tonight as Eve was discovered listening in on Charlie’s “safe space,” betraying her confidence in the process.
When Charlie accused Eve of listening in on the wedding, Eve protested that Charlie was lying, but professional Mel Schilling was there to convince the room that Eve was lying.
Subsequently, the pair was instructed to put in writing their intentions to continue the relationship or end it permanently.
Eve was the first to choose, writing Leave on her card.
Charlie, who also decided to end the trial, was irritated by it.
When it became clear that they were splitting up, Charlie stated, “I know things didn’t work out good but yous are f**king amazing, and you’re a great person too, Charlie, I hope someone makes you very happy.”
Charlie took the praise badly, accusing her of being unworthy of Charlie’s time.
“Charlie, keep your head up.” Eve shot back.
Charlie said, looking directly at the camera, “I’m conflicted. Even when it’s the right choice, breaking up with someone you have feelings for can still be difficult.
“I’m leaving a heartbroken woman right now.”
Charlie and Eve’s emotional co-stars gave them hugs before they left the room.
Charlie had become frustrated with Eve’s resistance to participate in the experiment before the ceremony.
Charlie was unhappy when Eve confessed she hadn’t sent the letter, even though earlier in the series the couples were supposed to write each other to open up about their relationships.
Eve spent almost no time with Charlie during their honeymoon, and this quarrel was just the first in a string of disagreements between the couple.
Eve stated she preferred to spend quality time with Charlie, but Charlie snapped back: “But you don’t, you haven’t. Give up; you are lying.”
“Are you joking me right now?” inquired a startled Eve.
Charlie lost it as the argument heated up, sobbing and angrily demanding that Eve vacate the flat.
